WLCC Vision:

Our vision is to honor God in all things and instruct believers to adhere to sound doctrine and practice. We do this by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed in God's Word, by the power of the Holy Spirit and equipping the saints to do the same.

WLCC Mission:

Our mission is to fulfill the biblical commission Christ has given to His Church.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our gatherings will be for the purpose of bringing glory to God and stirring one another to love and good works. (Heb. 10:25) When we gather as a body we seek to stand in agreement with the emphases of the early church: a commitment to sound Biblical doctrine, inspiring fellowship among believers, calling believer to remembrance of Christ's work, and seeking the Lord in prayer. (Acts 2:42)

About the Pastor and Pastoral Vision:

About the Pastor: Hunter and Amanda Fraley have served West Liberty Christian Church since 2015. They are graduates of Kentucky Christian University where Amanda studied nursing and Hunter studied Bible and Ministry. They have one son, Elias Blue. Hunter and Amanda grew up in WLCC's youth group, Fireproof, which they would go on to lead for over a decade. They hope to build up the name of Christ throughout West Liberty for years to come!

Pastoral Vision: To increase biblical literacy by promoting reverence for the Word of God, preaching sound doctrine, and aiding the saints in building their lives upon the Word.

To inspire and train the congregation to develop a Biblical worldview that appropriately understands the relationship between God and His Creation as revealed in His Word by the Holy Spirit.

To equip the saints to share the Gospel with boldness.

About the Church

For over a century, West Liberty Christian Church has served Christ and community. In March 2012, a tornado destroyed WLCC's building alongside numerous homes and businesses in West Liberty. The church was rebuilt and the congregation began meeting in the new facility in January of 2016.

WLCC stands upon the Bible as the infallible Word of God and seeks to operate according to the wisdom therein. The Church cares deeply about loving the Lord with all heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving neighbor as self. WLCC believes that spreading the Gospel is the best way to bring about lasting, substantial change to the community and world.

What we Believe

What we believe:

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, word of God, profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God's only son and that He is fully God and Man. We believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, and His priestly intercession on behalf of His people.

We believe that all Mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We believe that the wages of sin is death.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is offered to all men according to the sovereign grace of God, paid for by the propitiatory death of Christ on the cross.

We believe that The Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head.

We believe that Heaven is the place of everlasting life for the saved and Hell is the place of eternal punishment for the unsaved.
